- Scouting for Food
March 11, 18 - Joanne Burfiend introduced Nancy Chance head of Hamilton county pantries:
- Pantries are at dangerous low
- 30-60 people a day in need
- 14,000 needing help in Hamilton county
- 79% are working poor
- 19 pantries, 62 schools in Hamilton county
- Need can goods and dry products contact Nancy Chance if you need her to bring some folks to your Pack meeting at 773-5030.

- Carmel: Joanne Burfeind
- Sponsor is Kroger
- Door hangers are available from Del-Mi we have 10,000 need to return tags so they can be used next year
- Commissioner Service
- All Packs should have a unit commissioner who is the middle man between Packs and District
- John Harkey is the District Commissioner
- Summer Camp
- Audie Hopkins – Day Camp update
- Camp Kikthawenund District Day Camp is fully staffed,
- Belzer is filling up quickly
- Tag-a-longs are allowed at Day Camps (including Camp Belzer).
- Camp K WAC camp 2nd and 4th session is full
- Del-Mi Adventure Camp May 5-7
- Hamilton Southeastern Redistricting
Michael Vane - Fishers Packs - Recharter were the boys are at now when school starts then transfer the boys that are affected cost for transfer is $1.

Do you use games during Pack meetings?
- Some have events during pack meetings i.e... Pinewood derby, Blue & Gold
- Games space considerations
- Boring meetings take kids into gym for play time while parents talk
- Do games at end as an incentive during meeting
- Have cheers both boy and adults
- Songs & skits
- Have an open mike night but be prepared for what might come out of there mouths

- During pack meeting or at Blue & Gold??
- Do it at pack meeting and do the presentation your self.
- Parents typically don’t know the district volunteers and executives, but do know you and may be more inclined to support!!
