Creating an Upcoming Event Print E-mail
Information on how to create an upcoming event on the Del-Mi website.
Upcoming Events (Not for Unit Events)
ClockTo submit an event to be included in the district calendar and upcoming events section of each program area, click on the “Submit Event” found on the left side of the screen in the User Menu.  The following items are required in order for the event to be published:

¨   Content Tab

o       Subject:  Event Title

o       Categories: Where on the site should this item be displayed?

§         Boy Scouts
§         Cub Scouts
§         Venturing BSA
§         Del-Mi District Events (non-program specific events)
§         Firecrafter
§         Order of the Arrow
§         Boy Scout Training
§         Cub Scout Training
§         Venturing Training
§         District Training (non-program specific trainings)
§         Popcorn Sales
§         Recharter    
§         Crossroads of America Council Events

o       Activity:  Information about the event

o       Location: Short name of location (note: this is displayed on the upcoming events section), i.e., Noblesville First United Methodist Church, Camp Kikthawenund, Ransburg Scout Reservation, etc.

o       Contact: This can be left blank or you can put a person’s name or e-mail address into this text box.

o       Extra Info: Leave this field blank.

¨   Publication Date Tab

o       Start Date

o       Start Time

o       End Date

o       End Time

¨   Save the event by clicking on the Disk icon

Events must be approved by a site moderator before they will be posted on the site.  This process will take one or two days.
