Del-Mi District Training Bulletin: Scout leader training at summer camp This training bulletin is designed to keep you informed on training activities in the Del-Mi District.

 It’s that time of year again for summer camp!  Crossroads of America Council is offering Boy Scout training courses at both Ransburg Scout Reservation and Camp Krietenstein for volunteer leaders while your unit is in session.  Please take the opportunity and avail yourself of the courses while on site.  Training courses and schedule is available at check-in time at both camps.

Camp Kikthawenund is also offering Cub Scout Adult training on June 20, June 28, June 30, July 12, and July 15.  The training days are open to all volunteers—even if your unit isn’t in camp that day.  There is an $8.00 fee for the day to be paid at camp upon arrival. Trainings will be conducted from 9am-5pm with lunch being provided by Camp Kikthawenund.  (Additional Information)

Our Scouts deserve leaders that have all of the required position specific training as this ensures the success of your unit and your program as a whole.  Even if your position does not require one of the offered training courses, go ahead and take it!  You never know what kind of amazing information there is to be tucked away for a future event or outing, whether it’s for Scouting or family fun.
