Welcome to the Del Mi District Fall Camporee.  This camporee is designed to have fun through “Leave No Trace” principles.  Units will be cooking all their own meals in their campsites. All meals should be prepared following “Leave No Trace” principles. 

There are many resources out on the web regarding “Leave No Trace” in which your unit can prepare for the camporee.  The attached packet of information is for your unit to prepare for the camporee and inform you of the activities and schedule. Ensure each Patrol has a copy of information.  Scoring will be based on timeliness of registration (Due by September 25, 2005 to asmart@indy.rr.com) and from the activities of the weekend. The cost of the Camporee will be $5.00 per person. We hope this information answers most of your questions and we welcome any questions you may have regarding your preparation for this camporee.

The Camporee is focused on the principles of Leave No Trace (LNT). Each activity will focus on one or more LNT principle.  Refer to the activities for supplies required from each patrol. Adult leadership for supervision will be required at each station and points will be added to your score for your unit’s adult leader supervision (not participation).
